Techniques

The West Lab utilizes a multitude of techniques to probe circuit level function and dysfunction in neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders including in vivo electrophysiology (Plexon), Ca++ imaging (Inscopix), optogenetics, chemogenetics, and behavioral and cognitive tasks in awake and behaving rats.
